Press Release: Former Gillan guitarist ‘blown away’ with pledge-fund success for new album

Irish-born guitar legend Bernie Torme declared himself to be “absolutely blown away” with the staggering success of the pledge-fund appeal for his forthcoming album when it reached its target in less than 9 hours. The former Gillan guitarist formally announced plans for a new album on Friday.

‘Dublin Cowboy’ which is scheduled for release in March will be a triple album comprising a studio CD, an acoustic CD and a live CD. The ‘Dublin Cowboy Live’ album is available for immediate download for all pledgers,

Says Bernie, “I’m absolutely blown away by this, can’t believe it, 100% of what I needed in 8 hours 45 minutes! 200% to now! Get out of here! Man, I’ve truly got the best fans in the whole damn universe! This is going to be a great album.”

The success of the pledge-fund appeal for Dublin Cowboys continues the successful career renaissance Bernie Tormé has enjoyed in recent years following the well-received ‘Flowers & Dirt’ and ‘Blackheart’ releases which both came about through the direct support of fans via pledge funding.
